Background
exper!enceit inc. (formerly BSI) is a global leader in business training.
We established the original identity for BSI in 1993. They have since
developed customized business simulations for companies such as Molson,
the Bank of Montreal, Boeing and Marsh McLennan. The Bymedia Design Group
has provided graphic and packaging design for these products over the
past 10 years.
The Challenge
The challenge was to develop a new corporate identity for exer!ence it
(e!), as well as print and online marketing tools to promote brand awareness
in order to help e! build sales globally. The target audience consists
of top executives and training managers in large corporations. The challenge
was therefore to come up with something that would be both creative and
buttoned-down at the same time. We decided to use the gradated blue to
evoke an overall bright and uplifting feeling. The jumping figure is symbolic
of the need for individuals and companies to make the conscious decision
to jump into new situations.
The same look has proven to be adaptable to the e! web site and other
marketing materials and has really become the house style in the true
sense of the phrase. On the site, object oriented custom photography adds
another level of sophistication while still fitting in with the overall
corporate identity.
The Result
The new corporate identity and website have helped e! to gain greater
recognition in the field. The web site was launched in late April 2002
and has already become the primary point of contact for existing and new
clients and the new e! newsletter has helped to drive more traffic to
the site on a regular basis.
