The Challenge
The Result The Moca Loca website was launched in February 2003. It was created to give customers a foretaste of the cafés, both of which have a similar look and style to them. The interface was designed to be intuitive, allowing for easy navigation. The goal was to make all the information accessible within a few easy mouse clicks, as well as to make it easy to add content and maintain the site. The bright colours give the site a young, fresh feeling, and are also refelective of the existing colour scheme at both locations. Bymedia took extensive pictures at both locations which helped to build an effective online portrait for Moca Loca. Much effort also went into doing custom product shots for the menu to give visitors a foretaste of what to expect when they visit either location. Apart from the added appeal to customers, the site also serves as an effective tool to develop and promote franchise opportunities. Currently Bymedia is working on adding new features to the site, including an e-commerce section that will allow Moca Loca to promote and sell specific products online as well as offering added incentives to visit the cafés.
